In addition to beach combing, there is a beautiful trail in the woods to walk on that leads to the Lake. The trail is peaceful, lined with wild flowers and blueberries and salmonberries, through spruce forests and meadows. Wild blueberries are excellent for pancakes, syrup, garnishment for any dessert, addition to oatmeal, or my favorite way to eat them is directly off the bush by the handful.
